Hello, I’m Christopher Plaza, and flowers are not just my passion; they are my love language and my sanctuary from the ordinary. I am the visionary and owner of House of Dahlia, a floral design studio nestled in the vibrant heart of Miami, Florida.

My journey began as a young boy captivated by the beauty of flowers. I spent countless hours playing in a community garden managed by my father in the neighborhood where I grew up. This garden was a magical place for me, where I often daydreamed about my future. Every autumn, the season of Dahlias, my father would let me gather as many flowers as I desired, allowing my imagination to flourish as I crafted arrangements to gift to loved ones. This early experience ignited a lifelong passion for transforming the ordinary into the extraordinary through floral design.

Years passed, and I blossomed into a respected floral designer in Miami, where my garden became my creative studio. As I embraced my calling, I realized that florals are not merely beautiful—they are nature’s art. I believe I was destined to enhance the world around me with beauty and joy. In 2024, I transitioned from specializing solely in weddings to establishing House of Dahlia, a design house that focuses on events while also creating stunning floral installations for fashion shows, music videos, and photo shoots. Additionally, I am proud to be the founder of Miami Wedding Week, the premier bridal fashion week of South Florida.
